Adar Poonawalla Announces Financial Aid For Students Facing Quarantine Abroad

As students studying abroad may still have to carry the costs of quarantine, Adar Poonawalla offers up to Rs.10 crore in financial aid.

Adar Poonawalla, CEO & Owner, Serum Institute of India has announced financial for students facing quarantine when going abroad for their studies. As Covishield is yet to be accepted by all countries, many students, not wanting to delay their studies, have to comply with quarantine rules at their own expense. 

 #UnlockEducation scheme was announced on NDTV.

He tweeted, "Dear students travelling abroad, as a few countries are yet to approve COVISHIELD as an acceptable vaccine for travel without quarantine, you may have to incur some costs. I have set aside Rs.10 crores for this."
