Boeing WIN And LLF Announce Aerospace Skills Program

Boeing, Wipro Infrastructure Engineering and Learning Links Foundation announce skills program for the aerospace industry.

Boeing, Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (WIN) and Learning Links Foundation (LLF) announced the launch of Learn and Earn a youth skilling program. The program aims to further strengthen the aerospace ecosystem in the country and is in line with the Government of India’s 'Skill India' initiatives.

The first batch of 17 trainees will undergo a comprehensive 11-month program that will include five months of classroom training and mentoring at Government Tool Room & Training Center (GTTC) Bengaluru, a tool room managed by the Government of Karnataka, followed by on-the-job training at WIN’s aerospace division in Bengaluru. 

The program curriculum curated by LLF includes classrooms sessions, hands-on practice, lectures by industry experts and industry visits. The program includes technical and soft skills training. The trainees will be paid a monthly stipend throughout the program duration and will be assessed regularly and the training will be instrumental in helping young professionals secure meaningful employment.
