JKLU To Organise International Conference On Innovation & Sustainability On 5th & 6th February

Jointly hosted by JKLU’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Institute of Design and Institute of Management, it will provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators.

JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) is all set to host the International Conference on Innovation & Sustainability (ICIS’21) on February 5th & 6th 2021 in virtual mode.

The conference provides a platform to seasoned as well as budding professionals from all walks of life to discuss and deliberate upon ‘innovative’ and ‘sustainable’ ways of achieving cohesive, inclusive and resilient growth and is expected to help initiate and accelerate responsible business transformation and smart solutions for sustainable development. Jointly hosted by JKLU’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Institute of Design and Institute of Management, it will provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends and concerns, as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted, in the areas of engineering, design and management and invites full length un-published papers addressing sustainable and innovative practices. 

Mr. R. Ramanan, Mission Director, AIM, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India and Mr. Jayant Krishna, Group CEO, UK India Business Council (UKIBC) will be the Chief Guests of the two-day event, while Mr. Khushro Bulsara, Head IPF, BSE, will be the Guest of Honour. Eminent Speakers and Panelists at the star-studded conference will include Ms Carmen Miranda (noted Environmental activist, designer and journalist, UK), Prof Ramesh Jain (University of California), Prof Milind Tambe (Harvard University), Prof Dinesh Manocha (University of Maryland), Prof S Parthasarathy (Ohio State University), Mr Uday Dandavate (Co-Founder & CEO, SonicRim), Mr Kapil Kaul (Advisor CSR & Sustainability, JK Paper), Prof Sushil Kumar (IIM Lucknow), Dr Divya Rajput (India lead - Incubator Manager, Texas Global Innovation Lab), Mr ChintanBakshi (CEO, Startup Oasis).

The after-conference findings of the ICIS'21 will be published in Springer, ‘Algorithms for Intelligent Systems’ and SCOPUS indexed/UGC Care journals.
