MP Government’s Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) To Partner With Times Professional Learning

Times Professional Learning has trained 1686 students under the DAY – NULM. Setting up 15 training centres in 15 districts of Madhya Pradesh.

Times Professional Learning (TPL) has partnered with the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to impart skill training to youth. TPL has successfully trained 1686 youth in 15 districts and established 15 skill development centres till FY 2019-20 in the state. TPL has provided skills in Information Communication Technology, BFSI, IT-ITES, Banking & Accounting, Banking Financial Services & Insurance, Constriction, Garment Making, Tourism & Hospitality, Plumbing, and Health Care. The skill training was conducted among the youth from rural areas with a minimum requirement that the student has passed HSC.

Times Professional Learning has a dedicated placement team that tie-up with growing industries and provide the best jobs to the students' post completion of their training. The team also coaches students and prepares them on giving interviews. Local Government bodies also help training providers and students in getting job opportunities by organizing Job Mela or Rozgar Mela in various districts in which various industries and companies take part.

Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) aims to reduce poverty and vulnerability of the urban poor households by enabling them to access gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities, resulting in an improvement in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis, through building strong grassroots level institutions of the poor.
