Over 500 Corporates Come Onboard To Great Learning Corporate Academy

In the last 30 days, 25% of active users have already completed at least one course, each of them spending an average of 2 hours per day on the platform.

In order to encourage professionals and graduating students to upskill and reskill themselves, the company has launched Great Learning Academy, it’s a free platform offering over 100 courses with over 1000 hours of high-quality structured learning content focused on career critical skills. Since the launch mid-March, the platform has witnessed great demand with a 100% increase in learners month on month, with a learner spending an average of 2 hours per day. While the platform offers an array of topics to choose from courses on Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Front End Programming and Digital Marketing have been seeing maximum demand.

In addition to working professionals, it has been interesting for the company to note that 30% of learners on Great Learning Academy are college students from IITs, IIMs, NITs and top Engineering colleges in India. Seeing the demand and traffic on the website, the company launched the Great Learning app to make learning on the go easy for learners. In addition to watching course videos offline, they can practice quizzes and a final evaluation quiz which further helps learners in course completion. There has been a 200% increase in app installs in the last 60 days. 

According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs 2018 report, more than half of India’s workforce will need to be reskilled by 2022 to meet the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The report further mentions that talent availability is the single most important factor in determining job locations for international businesses.
