Principals From India Attended Educational Workshop at Trinity Hall Cambridge, United Kingdom

Silverzone Foundation organized a Workshop Come Training Programme on Modern Education and Techniques at Trinity Hall Cambridge, United Kingdom

Silverzone Foundation promoting competitive awareness of academics in school children in India and abroad has conducted a workshop come training programme for principals on Modern Education and Techniques.

9 Principals from pan India were nominated to attend this workshop.

The workshop was attended by Mrs. Anuradha Handa - Principal, G. D. Goenka Public School, Gurgaon, Dr. Neeta Mhatre - Trustee, Pragnya Bodhini High School, Mumbai, Mrs. Preeti Lamba- Principal, RPS International School, Rewari, Dr. Raman Preet Kaur Sekhon -Principal, RPS Public School, Dharuhera, Ms. Seema Chhotu Shaikh- Principal, Pragnya Bodhini High School, Mumbai, Mrs. Shalini Kadwe -Principal, Wisdom High International School, Nashik, Dr. Vivekananda Chakraborty - Principal, Midnapore Town School, Heritage, West Bengal, Ms. Sarita Vinod Kumar Singh – Principal, RPS Sr Secondary School, Haryana and Mr. Ramesh Chandra Joshi - LK Singhania Education Centre, Rajasthan.

It was held recently at Cambridge University, addressed by Steve Garnett, award-nominated author and Senior Trainer along with Dr. Thomas Fairhead, an alumnus of Westminster school and Imperial College London with a vast experience of working with Educators.

 The motto of the workshop was to learn the modern techniques and methods which will enhance the creativity and teaching efficiency of the educators.

Designed on an interactive and hands-on module, the workshop was intended to focus on developing a dynamic learning environment for educators and students.

In the first session, teachers were introduced to the concept of active learning, some new techniques and to plan a lesson around active learning. The session was chaired by Steve Garnett, a senior trainer.

The second session was on different strategies of teaching involving technology. And constructivist method where students construct their unique understanding of a subject based on their past experiences with teachers as facilitators.

 “Educators should have the first-hand experience of best education practices of the world this way only we will be able to match the international teaching standards” said Mr. Kamal Kishore, MD of Silverzone Foundation. The future of any country depends upon its Educators. They shape our kids. So updating their teaching skills is equally important he added.
