SGT University To Build EV Infrastructure For Students

Collaborates with Electric One Mobility to launch Centre of Excellence

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (SGT) University, is going all out to provide a robust EV infrastructure to students interested in the field. SGT University together with Electric One Mobility, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and inaugurated the Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicle. SGT University believes in inculcating the technological mindset in students and imparting knowledge to build scientific temper in generations. 

The MoU will offer two different programmes to both SGT University students and those from other institutions. The certification and curriculum-based experience programme will meet the students' skill needs for the futuristic industry segment of electric vehicles. Along with the faculty at SGT University, the students will also learn from professionals in the sector. With a chance for job placements, Electric One Mobility will support students who have chosen semester or certification programs. The company will also support students with conducting projects by offering materials, technological know-how and other resources.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology inaugurated the Centre of Excellence lab and Electric One Skill Next Program at SGT University on 23 November 2022. The MoU was signed by Dr Joginder Yadav, Registrar, SGT University and Amit Das, Founder and CEO of Electric One Mobility.
