Sharda University Signs MoU With PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry
MoU shall also facilitate practical exposure to faculty and students by giving them the opportunity to participate in industry-led sessions, webinars, seminars, workshops events, internships and placements.

Sharda University has taken a stride in the direction of academia-industry bonding by signing an MoU with the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, one of the largest and oldest apex business organizations in India. The MoU was signed by Dr Sibaram Khara, Vice-Chancellor of Sharda University and Saurabh Sanyal, Secretary-General of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry today on December 8 2021 in Sharda University Campus. The signing ceremony was attended by senior faculty members as well as senior functionaries from both sides.
The PHD Chamber’s stand on policy issues is sought out by think tanks, governments and academia and Its publications are widely read for their in-depth research and policy prescriptions. The MoU shall provide Sharda University ready access to industries under the umbrella of the PHD Chamber of Commerce in a more formal or organized manner. MoU shall also facilitate practical exposure to faculty and students by giving them the opportunity to participate in industry-led sessions, webinars, seminars, workshops events, internships and placements.
Sharda University and PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry mutually agreed to organize an academia-industry meet on forthcoming World IP Day i.e. on April 26 2021 for show-casing the technologies developed by innovative faculty and students of Sharda University to industries for not only identifying the opportunities for technology transfer but also to strengthen the linkages in a continuous and self-sustained manner. Dr Sibaram Khara, Vice-Chancellor of Sharda University, during the signing ceremony, emphasized continuous efforts from both sides for identifying areas of cooperation for the larger interest of the community. Dean Research, Dr Bhuvnesh Kumar and Head IPR Cell, Prof Avinash Kumar coordinated the Meeting.
