IILM Conducts Conference On Sustainability

The conference touched upon contemporary issues facing the world such as environmental degradation, climate change and economic crisis

To address the key sustainability challenges, IILM recently hosted an international conference.

The two-day conference was designed to promote comprehensive discussions among stakeholders including policymakers, businesses, individuals and communities for a collective approach towards sustainable living.

The conference touched upon contemporary issues facing the world such as environmental degradation, climate change, social exclusion, unequal distribution of income and economic crisis. Also, the distinguished experts at the conference jointly acknowledged the pivotal role of technology to accomplish sustainability objectives.

The event commenced with the lighting of a lamp followed by a welcome address by vice chancellor Prof (Dr) Sujata Shahi and a keynote address by Dr RK Sinha, Vice Chancellor, Gautam Buddha University.
