Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, in association with Viksit Bharat@2047, organised a Development Dialogue with Shishir Kumar Bajoria, Chairman, the Board of Governors, IIM Shillong and Head, SK Bajoria Group.

The session included a lively conversation between the speaker and the students, during which they discussed Startups, Work-Life Balance, the G20 Summit and the National Education Policy.

“We cannot afford our youth to go empty-handed after investing so many years. This is where NEP will make a difference. The importance of skill development is paramount for the future of India. We have to move from a country of job seekers to a country of  job givers,” Shishir Kumar Bajoria said during interaction with the students. 

“The initiatives undertaken by IIT Guwahati in the realm of startups are commendable, as they align with the vision of fostering entrepreneurship, which is considered the bedrock of the nation's future. This forward-looking approach is expected to propel the country towards greater heights," Bajoria added.
