IIT Guwahati To Collaborate With Oil India Ltd. Develop New Technologies For Energy And Allied Sectors

The partnership will focus on the Transfer of existing technologies, Knowledge up-gradation, innovation partnership, Training, and skill development.

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is going to collaborate with Oil India Limited (OIL) on the development and introduction of new technologies energy, and related sectors. The partnership will also focus on cooperation in the Transfer of existing technologies, Knowledge up-gradation and innovation partnership, Training and skill development, and other areas of mutual agreement.

The MoU was signed on 11th November 2021 by Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Director, IIT Guwahati, and Mr. Sasanka Pratim Deka, Executive Director, Oil India Limited, in the presence of Institute Faculty and OIL Executives. They will work together to catalyse innovation and growth in technology.
