IIT Hyderabad Organises Convocation

884 degrees were conferred during the 11th joint convocation; Shah Nisarg Pankaj from the Department of CSE received the President of India Gold Medal

Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is celebrating the 11th Convocation in the physical mode for the first-time post-pandemic in the presence of Prof Subra Suresh, President, NTU Singapore, as Chief Guest of the event. 

A total of 873 students are getting 884 degrees (UG: 282, PG: 468, PhD: 134), with 4 Gold Medals and 32 Silver Medals. This number also includes the first-time graduating batch of interdisciplinary programs: Additive Manufacturing, Energy Science & Technology, E-Waste Resource Engineering & Management, Integrated Sensor systems, Polymers and Biosystems Engineering and Smart Mobility. 

IITHians will adore the Pochampalli Stoles this year too, as IITH’s Historical Tradition of getting connected to the Culture of the State of Telangana. Motivating future leaders on this occasion with kind words, Dr B V R Mohan Reddy, Chairman, BoG, IITH, has declared the out-going students the graduates.
