Jagran Lakecity University Entrance Test Aims To Curtail The 12th Board Uncertainty

The last date to register for the online exam is 17th May 2021. The university will conduct other rounds of JLUET for which the tentative dates are 26th June, 24th July and14th August 2021 respectively.

Jagran Lakecity University (JLU) has commenced applications for the first phase of its Entrance Test (JLUET) on 22nd May 2021. The decision has been made keeping in mind the ongoing delay in the upcoming 12th Board Exam results. To ensure continuity in the transition to higher education, the university has reworked the admission process in order to alleviate student uncertainty while considering university admissions. JLUET is the centralized admissions cum scholarship test for aspiring students and is a part of the assessment process for all the courses available at the university. 

The last date to register for the online exam is 17th May 2021. The university will conduct other rounds of JLUET for which the tentative dates are 26th June, 24th July and14th August 2021 respectively. 

The three-hour-long JLUET will be conducted virtually and is a gateway to multiple U.G. courses within the university across the fields of Journalism, Design, Law, Management & Commerce, UI/UX, BBA, B.A. Economics, B.COM, B.TECH, Hospitality, Entertainment & Events, Public Policy, Psychology, English Literature, among others. JLUET is specifically designed to test students on aptitude and knowledge in order to identify exceptional students who may secure a seat at the university prior to appearing for the 12th boards. The test includes an MCQ-based aptitude test, covering three sections i.e. Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Subject Knowledge. It also consists of a personal interview with the admission panel.

The university has also redesigned its scholarship program to include JLUET scores, apart from the other National level entrance test scores. The top 12.8% of students will be eligible to get up to 100% scholarships on tuition fees from a total scholarship corpus of Rs. 2.5 Cr, as announced by the university.
