NIT Andhra Pradesh Revamps BTech Curriculum As Part Of Implementing NEP 2020
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State Governors address National Conclave on Strategies for implementing National Education Policy
National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh has revamped its BTech curriculum and added new features as part of the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The Institute is conducting a Symposium I and II under the banner of ‘National Conclave on Strategies for implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’ on 29th and 30th October 2021. This seminar enabled administrative staff, students, researchers and faculty members to obtain awareness on developments attainable upon implementation of NEP in the institute.
Tuned as per the New Education Policy 2020, Prof. C.S.P. Rao announced the Salient Features of New Curriculum B.Tech 2020-21 onwards:
- Multiple exit options (Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma & B.Tech)
- Minor Degree along with Regular Degree
- Honours Degree along with Regular Degree
- Online Education through Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)
- Choice-based Credit System
- Skill Development through Mini Projects
- Outreach Activities through Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS)
- Summer Internships at Institutes/ Organizations / Industries
- Major Final Year Project through Industrial Training / Internship
- Industry Supported / Relevance Courses
