Pearl Academy-SETU Collaboration, A Boon To The Underprivileged Women

With the aim to empower women and enhance their ability to earn better livelihood, Pearl Academy in collaboration with SETU Foundation completed its 3 month certificate program to train 23 students in design, pattern making and construction skills. A convocation ceremony to award the winners and certificates to all participants was organized today at Pearl Academy’s Noida campus.
As a part of its CSR initiative, Pearl joined hands with SETU Foundation, a Noida based NGO working for education and employability of under-privileged and disabled people. Pearl provided specialized and skill based training to two women trainers who in turn operated on ‘train the trainer’ model to impart skills to 23 women from SETU in three months course. The top 3 performing students - Tabasum Salmani, Sunita Singh and Rambha were felicitated with trophies and certificates were awarded to all participants.
