BitClass Acquires Digital Learning Platform Chase

BitClass claims to have grown to 250,000 paying learners who have enrolled into live classes across 450+ unique courses, taught by 5000+ teachers who come from all walks of life.

BitClass, an edtech platform for two-way interactive LIVE cohort-based courses, has acquired Chase, a Bengaluru-based unique exploration & learning digital platform designed for millennials.

The courses on the platform majorly fall under broad categories like career or skill-building, health & fitness, art & craft, music & dance, cooking & baking, to name a few.

BitClass enables a Try n Buy experience for learners, where they can explore as many courses as they want paying a small ticket size of Rs 99 for a two-day workshop, and then go deep buying the full courses. This also helps the company have extremely low acquisition costs, as the conversions to full courses are very high in the LIVE workshops.
With course completion rates of above 80 per cent, a high number of repeats within and across categories, the company has found a product-market fit and is now looking to double down on the growth by expanding its product portfolio across new categories and new geographies.

To accomplish the same, the company is currently expanding the team in all functions. Chase's team seemed to be the perfect partners as they not only shared a common vision for how learning would look like in the future but also had taken significant steps to build something similar.

The founders of Chase will be joining hands with the BitClass to help accelerate the movement towards achieving the goal of becoming the one-stop solution to all the learning needs - enabling access to quality, affordable and efficient learning experiences for people across the globe.
